Gooch
The Gooch plug-in is a per pixel light with a reflective high light. Material of the container is ignored, only the shader parameters are used to define the surface color. Texture mapping works as usual, but the texture can be blended with the surface color using the Texture Alpha parameter. Only Light number 1 is used and the light is always treated as local light source.
In the figure below, the left image is with Gooch and the right image is with a regular material.

Gooch Properties

Surface: Describes the intensity of color like the ambient color of a material.

Cool: Defines the cool color. Both colors cool and warm are merged. The result is a color gradient.

Warm: Defines the warm color.

Highlight: Sets the diameter of the highlight.

Highlight Alpha: Sets the alpha or transparent value of the highlight.

Texture Alpha: Describes the visible value of the texture image in percent. 0% (Invisible) - 100% (Visible).
