A Preset describes one layout of the channels defined in the video wall. They can be used in the show like a regular playlist element, which, when played out, sets the (preset) layout configuration on the renderer.
Presets belong to a video wall, and video walls are set up for a Profile. Therefore, in any show, only the active Profile's presets should be used.
Superchannel Presets
The Superchannel Presets are stored in the backing video wall scene, and fully leverage Viz Engine's Superchannel architecture, allowing custom transitions, arm and fire workflow, and more. Viz Multiplay imports them into a show from the active Profile's video wall configuration.
To change the layout, use the Video Wall Designer in the Profile Editor. Changes in the layout are saved back to the scene, and must be re-imported.
Superchannel Quick Presets
Superchannel Quick Presets are based on Superchannel preset elements, but the layout information is stored on the playlist element itself. The layout can be easily edited in the show, as changes are not saved back to the scene.
No custom preset transitions can be set in the scene for these elements.
Legacy Walls Presets
Regular graphic elements playing out the DynamicChannel scene, keeping track of the position of GFX channels.
