Viz Trio Log Levels
Viz Trio Log Levels define the verbosity of logging detail. The selected level depends on specific user requirements. For example, with a system working smoothly or where storage capacity is a concern, the Minimal value will usually suffice.
Info: The Viz Trio logfiles can be found on: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Vizrt\Viz Trio.
Working with Viz Trio Logs
You set log level in the User Interface > Log section of the Configuration menu.
To specify log level
Navigate to File > Configuration to open the Viz Trio Configuration.
Select Log from the User Interface section.
Select a log level:
Minimal: Only critical information like Error and Warning messages are stored.
Default: Errors, Warnings and some general information is stored. This default value is employed if logging is not explicitly set.
Full: All available information is stored. This includes detailed debug information, so this level is intended for reproducing and reporting issues, and not recommended for regular use.
Tip: Messages on log level Minimal (error and warning messages) can also be viewed in the Error Messages window.
Caution: For Media Sequencer (MSE), in most cases it is beneficial to set a low, preferably Minimal, logging level. In a production environment, high-level logging may affect performance.
To change the log file path
Click the Config button in Viz Trio’s main window to open the Viz Trio Configuration.
From the User Interface section, select Paths.
In the Logfile path box, enter the path to where you wish the log files to be located.
