The Mosart Rundown Viewer provides a convenient, browser-based display of a Viz Mosart rundown.
Info: To browse a rundown in the Rundown Viewer, a standard Viz Mosart setup must first be running with a loaded rundown.
Opening the Rundown Viewer
You launch the Rundown Viewer from the Mosart Web Apps Configuration Tool.
In the Configuration Tool, select App Launcher > Rundown Viewer.
The Rundown Viewer opens in your default web browser.
On a site with several studios, launch it for the studio you want, and it connects to that studio's Viz Mosart server. See Studios.
Key Features
Viz Mosart server status
The Viz Mosart server status is displayed in the upper right corner.
Status | Description |

Active | The Viz Mosart server is active. |
Idle | The Viz Mosart server is idle. |
Down or unreachable | Manus Administrator is not running, or the Mosart Remote Control Service (RCS) is not running, or it cannot be reached. |
Main and backup | Two indicators are shown when Viz Mosart is set up with a main and a backup server, and the backup has been configured in the Configuration Tool under Server Configuration. |
By default the indicator shows the hostname, IP address or FQDN configured for the main and backup servers in Server Configuration. In newer versions of Viz Mosart, the Server Description configured on each Viz Mosart server under Manus Administrator settings is used instead.
Rundown display
The rundown is shown story by story, in running order, with each story's items along its row.
Story scaler. You can expand the viewing area for the items in a story row, which is useful for reading full text details on an item. Adjust the story scaling to the column width you want.
Go to on-air story. A navigation button scrolls immediately to the story currently on air, so you can get back to it after browsing elsewhere in the rundown.
Autotake indicator. An item that is set to take automatically is marked with a vertical line and an arrow at the end of its planned-duration bar, matching the autotake marker in the Viz Mosart rundown window. This tells you at a glance which items advance by themselves and which wait for the operator.
Story script. The script for a story can be read alongside the rundown, or on its own. See Choosing what to display below.
Timers
A timer bar carries the rundown's timing information, including the time to the next break.
Keyboard shortcuts panel
The Rundown Viewer can display the Viz Mosart keyboard layout, showing which shortcut is mapped to which physical key, including the navigation keys and the numeric keypad. It is a reference display rather than a control surface: use it to see and to teach the keyboard mapping in use.
The panel takes up to half the screen alongside the rundown. To fill the whole window with it, for example on a dedicated monitor in a training room, open the Rundown Viewer with the keyboard parameter described below.
Choosing what to display
The Rundown Viewer can be opened showing only part of its content, which is what makes it useful as a wall or gallery display. Add one of these parameters to the URL:

Tip: Because each of these is just a URL, a browser in kiosk or full-screen mode pointed at one of them makes a self-contained display that needs no operator. Several screens can show different views of the same rundown at the same time.
Display settings
Settings control how much of each story is shown, so the rundown can be tuned to the screen it is on. They are remembered in the browser you set them in, so each display can differ.
Setting | What it does |

Max lines | How many lines of a story title are shown, from 1 to 4, or 4+ for no limit. Fewer lines fit more stories on screen; more lines make long titles readable. |
Full title on cue | Shows the complete story title for the cued story, whatever the line limit. |
Full title on air | Shows the complete story title for the story on air. |
Show full story title | Shows complete titles throughout, rather than only for the cued and on-air stories. |
Settings are applied with Save, and Cancel discards what you changed.
Tip: For a wall display, keep Max lines low so more of the rundown fits, and turn on Full title on cue and Full title on air so the two stories that matter most are always fully readable.
