    • It is recommended to upgrade to Graphic Hub 3.6.0 or later when fixing files with irregular fragment sizes.

Changes to Existing Features

Improvements/changes to existing features and changed behavior compared with previous versions.

Graphic Hub Manager 5.6.0

  • The server check functionality was already able to find files with irregular fragment size and is now able to fix those.

Upcoming Changes

Resolved Issues

Issues of previous versions that this version solves.

Graphic Hub 3.6.0

  • Fixed incorrect log messages in the Graphic Hub log files when timeouts of client operations are detected (VIZGH-7342).

Graphic Hub Terminal 3.6.0

  • Icons inside the Web-UI are missing when using Internet Explorer. Affects version 3.5.2 (VIZGH-7336).

Graphic Hub REST 2.6.0

  • Fixed stability issues when Graphic Hub is used as Pilot data back end. Fixed a possible deadlock in transaction pool processing on shutdown or cleanup of incomplete transactions. Fixed risk to not fully roll back transactions (VIZGH-6934).

Graphic Hub Deploy Agent 2.6.0

  • Important: Fixed an issue where initialization of a real-time deploy task fails due to conflicts between the source and destination Graphic Hubs (VIZGH-7349). This issue affects Deploy Agent versions 2.4.2 to 2.5.2 and the problem observable is that the real-time deploy task fails with the error message: Task finished unexpectedly. Cannot calculate folder structure rebuild operations.

Graphic Hub Manager 5.6.0

  • Do not stop processing while generating the image compression when errors occur (VIZGH-7363).

  • In some cases deploy operations did not stop when they are canceled by the user (VIZGH-4391).

  • Fixed an error reported during deployment when the user that is logged in to the destination Graphic Hub has insufficient permissions to create users (VIZGH-7237).

  • Fixed an issue where the previous window layout was not restored properly and some views are not opened again (VIZGH-7289).

  • Fixed an archive import issue where path-name is not created, if it is identified as root-item (VIZGH-7362).

  • Fixed an issue in server check when using "Check sequence tables" where the sequence for templates was wrongly reported as broken when no templates were inserted yet (VIZGH-7402).

Known Limitations

Please refer to Known Limitations, Problems and Workarounds and Frequently Asked Questions the Graphic Hub Administrator Guide for a collection of topics. In the same section of the documentation a summary of troubleshooting topics can be found too.

This software requires a license for certain modes in order to operate. See Licensing the Graphic Hub in the Graphic Hub Administrator Guide for details.

Installation/Upgrade Special Considerations

The MSI installers require that you should close any running Graphic Hub programs and uninstall existing installations before you upgrade.

Hardware and Software Compatibility

For details on hardware, operating systems and browser requirements please refer to the System Requirements in the Graphic Hub Administrator Guide.

For details on compatibility when the Graphic Hub is used as a Viz Pilot data back end, see Viz Pilot Database Management in the Graphic Hub Administrator Guide.

Note: There may be different supported versions for other Vizrt products. Please refer to separate release notes of these program packages.

Viz Multiplay: This version of Graphic Hub REST requires Viz Multiplay version 2.6.1 or 3.0, otherwise scene import for scenes without control model will not work.

Viz Pilot Edge: This version of Graphic Hub REST is recommended for use with Viz Pilot Data Server 8.6 and Viz Pilot Edge 2.0 or newer.
