The Prompter is a browser-based teleprompter that displays the script from the live Viz Mosart rundown on any connected device: a laptop, a tablet, or a dedicated prompter screen. It needs no additional hardware or software beyond a web browser.
Follows the on-air rundown automatically: as items are taken on air, the script rolls to the current item and reads ahead across items that have no script of their own.
A reading cue band and cue arrows mark the line being read, at an adjustable position on the glass. The band can be switched off independently of the arrows.
On-screen controls and keyboard shortcuts for scroll speed, text size, and manual transport.
Mirrored output (horizontal and vertical) for teleprompter glass rigs.
Can be played and paused from a Smart Panel button, and embedded in a Smart Panel as a live widget.
A display-only mode that shows the rolling script alone, for passive output screens.
Typical Usage
The Prompter is aimed at presenters, anchors, and prompter operators. In a typical setup, the Prompter runs full screen on the studio prompter display (or on the talent's tablet or laptop) while Viz Mosart drives the show. The presenter reads from the cue line; the script rolls automatically as the automation takes each item, so nobody has to drive the prompter by hand. For rehearsal, or whenever the operator prefers to control the pace, the manual transport controls are available at all times.
Prerequisites
Viz Mosart 5.1.0 or later.
