Viz Arc is a control application that can be used for one or more Viz Engines, and can also drive Unreal Engine and Flowics render targets. It uses Graphic Hub and its REST API for browsing Scenes, Images, merged Geometries and Materials, and integrates with the wider Vizrt ecosystem: Media Sequencer (MSE) and Viz Pilot / Pilot Data Server for newsroom-driven playout, and Viz One, Media Service and Viz Data Center for media and data.

When working with tracked cameras in a Virtual Studio environment, Viz Arc communicates with Tracking Hub to send and receive camera tracking information. It also offers Virtual Camera Flights for scripted virtual camera moves, an Object Tracker, and works alongside Viz Arena for sports augmented reality.

One of the key features of Viz Arc is the ability to set up Augmented Reality elements in outdoor productions directly over a map. A working internet connection is required to retrieve map imagery from providers such as Bing or OSM. Stage layouts and floor plans can additionally be imported from CAD / DGW / DXF drawings.

Beyond the desktop application, Viz Arc can be operated and automated in many ways — a browser-based Web UI, a REST API, MQTT messaging and timecode (NDI / Plura), as well as physical control surfaces such as Elgato Stream Deck, MIDI devices, Art-Net (DMX) and GPI. Viz Arc also includes a built-in AI assistant (MCP server) that lets you build templates, trigger actions and query the documentation using natural language.
