Services Won’t Start After Installing the Latest Preview Server

While earlier versions of Preview Server had reportedly issues with Apple's Bonjour installed, we were unable to recreate them with the latest build. If problems occur, uninstalling Bonjour may help (TRIO-3541).

Known Limitations

  • We are unable to detect duplicated Viz Engines, therefore, it is possible to add the same Viz Engine multiple times on the same Media Sequencer if you use different host specifications, for example localhost and 127.0.0.1. In this case, the Viz Engine has double the weight in load distribution.

  • Snapshots of scenes with no key defined, result in empty images (TRIO-4084).

  • Adding video mode Viz Engines as renderers, could produce incorrect results in scenes using ControlVideo (TRIO-4084).
