Utilizing Viz Engine’s Parallel output feature and Adaptive Scenes one single Viz Engine is able to deliver multiple NDI streams in different formats.

To Setup Parallel NDI Outputs

Prerequisites

Please configure your engine to use the following licenses:

  • Enable Parallel Outputs license.

  • Enable either NDI input/out single or NDI Out Channel license.

  • If no additional SDI/IP output is required, the Software I/O mode should be set to NDI.

  • Configure GFX channels to default (port 55000).

To Create a GFX Channel Master Scene

Viz Engine needs to have one main scene serving multiple GFX channels for each format. These GFX channels can be controlled individual by (for example, a Viz Trio playlist through the assigned ports 50000 - 5000(n)).

  • Create scene with two GFX channels as texture

  • On the first GFX channel, choose the first format to output. (for example, Vertical)

  • Enable the NDI Aux Mode in the Aux tab.

Do the same for GFX Channel 2, choose for example, horizontal as format.

Viz Engine now serves three different NDI streams:

  • The master GFX scene, named VizEngine-0.

  • The content of GFX channel 1 in vertical format, named VizEngine-0 GFX-1.

  • The content of GFX channel 2 in horizontal format, named VizEngine-0 GFX-2.

In Viz Trio, create a profile to talk to two Viz Engines, one on port 55000, and the second one on Port 55001. Any commands being send to this profile are rendered in the related GFX channel, one in horizontal and the other in vertical format.
