After installing the software, we recommend to:
Only allow authenticated users (Configure Service Host > Rest Server Config) or restrict the access to local access only.
Restrict listen to to the network interface being used.
Change the default port (
9000).Verify the log files of Service Host on a regular basis.
Disable Remote Access for WIBU Codemeter Webadmin and use SSL (Configuration > Basic > Webadmin).
Remove any unneeded services.
Note: Be aware that if more services of, for example, Channel Recorder are created, more network ports are opened.
